University of Kentucky and the UK Pigman College of Engineering Join Landon Brown Racing for Kansas
A Partnership Built for the Next Chapter
Landon Brown Racing is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with the University of Kentucky and the University of Kentucky Pigman College of Engineering for Landon Brown’s upcoming ARCA Menards Series start at Kansas Speedway, September 25th, 8pm est, live on FS1, with Nitro Motorsports.
For Landon, this partnership could not be a more natural fit.
As he enters his sophomore year as an engineering student at the University of Kentucky, Landon will now have the opportunity to represent his university—and the college where he is pursuing his education—on one of the biggest stages of his young racing career.
The University of Kentucky and the UK Pigman College of Engineering will be prominently represented on Landon’s No. 15 Nitro Motorsports Toyota Camry when he takes on Kansas Speedway in the ARCA Menards Series season finale on September 25.
It brings together two major parts of Landon’s life: engineering and motorsports.
“Having the University of Kentucky and the UK Pigman College of Engineering on the race car is incredibly special,” Landon said. “I’m proud to be a UK student, and engineering is something that fits so naturally with racing. There is so much technology, data, problem-solving and preparation behind what happens on the track. I also think it perfectly represents how I think and drive on track as well. To be able to represent UK while competing at this level is an opportunity I’m extremely thankful for.”
From the Classroom to Kansas Speedway
Motorsports and engineering have always gone hand in hand.
Every lap at Kansas Speedway will involve aerodynamics, mechanical grip, vehicle dynamics, data acquisition, simulation, tire management and countless engineering decisions made by Landon and the Nitro Motorsports team.
That makes the Pigman College of Engineering an especially fitting partner as Landon continues developing both behind the wheel and in the classroom.
The Kansas weekend also represents another major step forward in Landon’s racing career.
After making multiple ARCA starts during the 2026 season, Landon will make his first appearance with Nitro Motorsports, driving the team's No. 15 Toyota Camry. Nitro Motorsports' growing program, its relationship with Toyota Racing Development and the experience surrounding Landon for Kansas have created tremendous excitement about what the group can accomplish together.
The goal isn't simply to participate.
The goal is to make an impact.
Bringing Big Blue to the Racetrack
The partnership also gives Landon something even bigger to race for at Kansas.
The University of Kentucky reaches far beyond Lexington, with students, alumni, families and supporters throughout Kentucky and across the country. For Landon, many of those connections have been part of his life long before this partnership came together.
His family, friends and supporters include numerous UK students and alumni, creating a strong Big Blue connection throughout the group of people who have helped support his racing career.
That connection also extends to Bachman Auto Group, an important part of the Brown family's story for more than two decades.
Landon's father, Phil Brown, has worked for Bachman Auto Group for 25 years, and Landon has also spent his summers working with the company while attending Trinity High School in Louisville, KY and then in college at UK. The Bachman family, owners of Bachman Auto Group, are University of Kentucky alumni and longtime, passionate supporters of UK.
Bachman Auto Group has also been part of the support system surrounding Landon as his racing career has progressed.
There is a genuine connection between everyone involved—not one created solely for a race weekend.
It's a connection built through education, family, friendships, business, community and a shared pride in the University of Kentucky.
Now Landon hopes to give the entire Big Blue Nation another reason to tune in and cheer.

Kansas Is the Next Step—Not the Finish Line
While there is tremendous focus on Kansas, Landon Brown Racing is already looking toward what could come next.
Landon's immediate goal is simple:
Make the most of the opportunity at Kansas Speedway.
From there, his sights are set even higher.
One of the major targets for 2027 is a start in the ARCA Menards Series at Daytona International Speedway, one of the most recognizable and important venues in American motorsports.
Beyond Daytona, Landon is working toward putting together a 2027 schedule featuring several high-impact, high-visibility events across the ARCA Menards Series—with the ultimate goal of expanding that schedule even further if the right opportunities and partnerships come together.
There is significant momentum surrounding both the ARCA Menards Series and Nitro Motorsports heading into 2027, and Landon hopes to be part of that growth.
The objective is to continue building his experience, profile and opportunities by competing in races that matter, at tracks that matter, with teams and organizations who believe in what is being built.
Each opportunity is designed to build upon the one before it.
Kansas is the next one.
Daytona is already on the horizon.
And the vision extends well beyond either race.
